Here's your (not so) totally useless fact(s) of the day:
The longest recorded case of the hiccups lasted for 68 years!
I posted this one 2 years ago, so it would be 7 years ago now.
True story. About 5 years ago, I had them for 4 days straight. Was able to sleep for only minutes at a time. I scheduled an appt. with the doc for the 5th day, and they miraculously went away. But talk about being miserable and pissed..I wish that on no one!
