was the first to record that the number of rings in the cross section of a tree
trunk revealed its age. He also discovered that the width between the rings

Hi, James! Just wanted to thank you for all the good freebies. I've been a member
of the newsletter for years. I also wanted to thank Brigitte, who wrote in with the
SafeLink cell phone program. When I first heard about it, I filled in my zipcode to
see if they had service in our area... which, they did not. So, today, I thought,
"What will it hurt if I try it again? All they can say is, no." So I put in my zipcode,
and... guess what? They DO have service in our area now! I filled out the
application and now, have to wait for them to tell me if I qualify or not. I hope I do!
Your subscribers send in a lot of really neat things. This is just one of them! Oh,
yeah! You mentioned that you hadn't heard, one way or another, about PhoneHog?!
It is VERY LEGIT, and I cannot tell you how many HOURS of talk time I have
received through them!!! It's relatively easy, too. You only have to click on the ads
they show you and you receive points/minutes for those ads. That's it! They email
you a card number (like on a plastic phone card, that you buy), as well as another
number (security code, pin number... something like that). You hang on to the
numbers (in a safe place), as you will need them each time you make a call. If you
continue to click adds, the minutes continue to accrue. As far as I know, the card
minutes do not expire. I could be wrong about the minutes, but I don't think they do.
