Here's your (not so) totally useless fact of the day:
From 1898 to 1910, the German pharmaceutical company Bayer advertised
heroin as cough medicine for children and a non-addictive morphine substitute
to cure morphine addiction. Eventually it was discovered that heroin is actually
converted to morphine when metabolized in the liver, leading the company to
discontinue their marketing. Bayer lost trademark rights to heroin after World
War 1.

Dear James,
I have received so many free samples and won some contests (nothing big yet but
I am still trying!) and surveys and product testing. I just signed up with Vindale
Research and was wondering if they are the "real deal" for product testing or not?!
I just completed the introductory tutorial and they say tommorrow is my first product
test. The thing that worries me is that they say we have to pay for shipping (but
supposedly be reimbursed after the test). They did say there would be some
incidental costs. Have you heard anything positive or negative about them? My
gut is saying that this is "to good to be true"!
