In medieval times, church bells were often consecrated to ward off evil spirits.
Because thunderstorms were attributed to the work of demons, the bells would
be rung in an attempt to stop the storms. Numerous bellringers were killed by
lightning.

Just wanted to say that Pinecone Research is really worth it. They send me surveys
all the time and they pay very quickly. I have even tried different products for them
and have been paid more than the normal $3.00 to do that and got to try the
product too. I have used other survey sites but no one can beat Pinecone. Thanks
