Here's your (not so) totally useless fact(s) of the day:
When Wyoming applied to join the US, Congress said they would have to stop
letting women vote. Their response:
"We will remain out of the Union one hundred years rather than come in without
the women."
They joined in 1890 as the first and only state that allowed women to vote.
Got a few more freebies I wanted to share.
