Here's your totally useless fact of the day:

Chicago, Illinois is the candy capital of the world. Chicago has more
chocolate manufacturers within a small radius than any other place in
the world. This dates back to the 1800's when Chicago was a national
hub for transportation and manufacturing, in addition to being very
close to sources for key candy ingredients -- milk and corn syrup, it
was also convenient to ship candy products to either coast from Chicago.

Have you checked out Writerspace.com? It's a gold mine of contests
for anyone interested in books. Only one entry per month per contest
and sometimes it's a little difficult to navigate, but I recommend it.

Yup, this is a great site with TONS of authors who have individua
contststs. I would say the odds of winning would be excellent.
Only becuase they are probably smaller prizes and the authors arent
too well known.
