There are locusts that have an adult life span of only a few weeks
or so, after having lived in the ground as grubs for fifteen years.
Yes, they are called Cicadas and we just had them here in Chicago
a couple of weeks ago. They are LOUD!

Hey James, I don't know if you put these in your letters or not but
it's worth a try!....
Hey James! First off, i love your site I have been with you for a few
years now and have gotten TONS of freebies *thanks* I have a favor, if
you could would you please ask your subscribers to send me any of their
unneeded/unused samples. Ok, now that you think I am being selfish I
will tell you why. I am adopted and I just recently found my birth-father
and I actually lucked out and found him a week before he left to go back
overseas. I have stayed in contact with him and I have been sending him
most of my samples that I have gotten. He is very excited to receive the
packages, but not as excited as the other soldiers he shares them with,
he says a lot of them NEVER get a package, call, or even a letter from
home while they are over there. If any of your readers have wanted to
send little things overseas to our soldiers, or if they want to send me
any samples that they have lying around unused, then it would be a big
help. If anyone would like to help just send me an e-mail at
