In your newsletter today, you mentioned that some prizes are not sent
out until 6-8 weeks after the contest is over. Well, I thought I would
add that sometimes you do not get any other confirmation about the
prize you won, and you think you are not going to get it, when lo and
behold there it is on your doorstep! Also, some of the contests do not
notify you at all if you win something and you just get a package in
the mail out of the blue! So, non-believers, you must be patient! I
have always eventually received my prize--even a substitute prize for
a computer error on the contest!
So what have I won lately? A travel mug/french press from Caribouu,
2 NBA posters, a $50 gift certificate for the NBA store, a bag of
Pepperidge Farms cookies, 6 music downloads from Castrol (you can
win more than one instant prize!), either a vest or belt buckle from
Mobil--don't know which one yet, a T-shirt from Mickey's UFC, and some
other little stuff I can't remember. Also, under "freebies", I received
the Senseo coffee maker, lots of stuff from Wal-Mart, a nice Wines of
Spain book, a very nice canvas tote bag from PetStyle, underwear from
Hanes--still trying to get the undies from Jockey!, and tons of food
samples, etc. So, perseverance does count! Thanks for all you do--
without which I would not have any of this!
