The orginal computer bug was just that a bug! More specifically a
moth that got caught in a circut of some sort and it is now preserved
at the Smithsonian.

Hey James,
Some time ago I filled out an application for Vtech as a product
tester. Today I received a phone call from them saying they were
sending me a phone system for testing and in about three weeks a
survey to fill out about that system and then they would be sending
me the actual production model system and another survey about a
month later and the system would be mine to keep for testing the
product. How cool is that? They also base the testing model on
what type of system I currently have in my home which is a four
cordless phone system, so that is what they will be sending; a
system that sells for over $100. My first real freebie!
