Per the results of a three-year Christmas study performed by the
Center for Lifestyle Management, an average of 10 hours are spent
the last week of December arguing and bickering with family
members about holiday-related activities.

Dear Mr. James Barton - free stuff guru,
Consider publishing any or all of this - if nothing else read the last
couple lines for heartwarming story about Christmas generosity. As a
longtime subscriber who has benefitted from your newsletter, though
I'd pass this along.
I entered a contest to get Columbia winter coat and other cold weather
gear - now a weekly finalist at bottom of page (greg in Michigan).
As a volunteer media guy for several non-profit environment/civil rights
projects, I entered the Columbia contest for one reason - to stay warm.
Six months out of the year, my volunteer work (and my recreation) is
outside - and anyone who has been to Michigan's Upper Peninsula knows
how cold it can be.
Vote for me if ya feel inclined - or vote for one you like better - or
ignore the whole darn thing - smile. Unfortunately they select the
winner based on votes not at random. I prefer the random thing sted of
begging for votes.
