Why are there 18 holes in a round of golf?
During a discussion among the club's membership board at St. Andrews
in 1858, one of the members pointed out that it takes exactly 18 shots
to polish off a fifth of scotch. By limiting himself to only one shot
of scotch per hole, the Scot figured his round of golf was finished
when the scotch ran out...

I think at least once a week I find something in your emails that
really blows me away. And this week, I just had to thank you for
the free Star Wars book. It's been so long since I have read one
of these that I am actually excited. And I was beyond happy that
audio was an option, now I can listen to it anywhere, and will
probably buy the follow up books.
I was wondering if you could let people know that it is Free Comic
Book Day this Saturday at participating comic book shops. It is on
about 26-30 books specifically chosen for this day. Kid-Friendly
books all through and some shops have artists doing sketches and
all sorts of other activities. More info can be found at

Up until about 2 years ago, i've read every single star wars book
ever written! Yeah, im a dork, huh?
