John Chris Woods (1903 - 1950) was an American Master Sergeant and the
hangman for the Third United States Army at the Nuremberg Trials.; he
executed the top 10 leaders of the Third Reich in Nuremberg on Oct. 16,
1946.
Woods was accidentally killed while testing an electric chair.

Dear James,
I am including the explanation as written on the site I use to check out
