"Misophonia" is a condition in which you are easily annoyed or angered
by little things. Such as a person who eats or breathes too loudly.

I received an email that i'm posting below to serve as a warning of what NOT
to do if you get a similar email. Thank you Lynn for sharing!!
Thankfully she asked me about it first.

What they do is cancel the funds after you send them the codes from the cards,
netting them $1,000 profit from YOUR money. Typical scam stuff.

The real Pinecone Company does none of that. All they do is surveys.
They pay $3 per completed survey via check, paypal, or points. And they
send the occasional products to test. They will never send a check higher,
nor will they ask you to be a mystery shopper!

Hi James,
I was finally picked by PineCone to participate! You've always had such positive,
wonderful reviews for this site. So I just wanted to make sure before I cashed the
check.  Received check for $1450.00, and almost shredded it. Nothing came with
it just the check, I thought it was a scam. Then I get an email from Pine Cone
saying be on the lookout for said check. I am to cash it, then take 1,000.00 and go
to one of the stores listed and purchase 2-  $500.00 Green Dot cards, scratch off
the pin number, and email it back to them. My compensation for this is $350.00,
the other $100.00, I'm to go to WalMart, purchase anything I want for $100.00 and
be a "mystery shopper" and evaluate and review the store, and customer service.
Whatever I purchase is mine to keep. The only thing I have to go on is it's from
Critical Power Exchange LLC.  I did an online search and the company is for
buying machinery or equipment  Does this sound like anything Pine Cone
research would do?
