I get asked quite a bit..."Why not Canada?!?!?!"
First things first. I am only the messenger. I have absolutely nothing to do
with any of the freebies/contests from these companies. I just find the offers
and post them.
Freebies
I would guess that a lot of companies don't send samples up north only
because of the cost of shipping. That's the only thing I can think of.
Contests
Canadian laws view contests as a form of gambling, or as an illegal lottery.
In order to bypass that, companies would have to include a skill-test question,
as well as adding an entire new set of rules. And then they need to add more
for Quebec, since they have their own set of laws.
Plus it gets even more complicated because of our IRS Tax Laws with prizes
valued at $600 or more.

For my own personal contests, they are available to both U.S and Canada
since the value is under $600 and I don't mind paying the extra few bucks
in shipping.
